Dr. Kamran V. Nia is a Diplomate of the American Board of Gastrointestinal & Hepatobiliary Diseases.

Dr. Kamran Nia is an experienced gastroenterologist who has been in practicefor more than one decade. A gastroenterologist is a physician that deals with disorders of the digestive system and the gastrointestinal (GI) tract. The GI tract is the region through which our food is digested and absorbed. This tract is frequently divided into two portions: upper and lower. The upper GI tract includes the mouth, esophagus, stomach, and the first part of the small intestine (known as the duodenum). The lower GI tract includes the other two parts of the small intestine (known as the jejunum and the ileum), the large intestine, and the anus. In addition to managing conditions involving the GI tract, Dr. Nia often deals with problems involving the liver, gallbladder, and pancreas.

Dr. Kamran Nia is expertly trained in endoscopic procedures, which allow direct visualization of the intestinal tract for optimal diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of gastrointestinal illnesses. He understands the sensitive nature of gastrointestinal illnesses and strives to provide his services in an environment which stresses patient privacy and confidentiality.

Gastroenterology is a medical subspecialty involving the diagnosis and treatment of various digestive and liver conditions. The mission of our board-certified physician is to provide both comprehensive patient medical care and expertise with regards to endoscopic procedures.
